The Book

In the Old Testament in the book of Proverbs, Chapter 31, King Lemuel’s mother the queen asked him, “A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.” I’m not sure if virtuous women who were fit for a king were scarce during the time of the text. However, there are innumerable virtuous women in the kingdom today, waiting to be found, loved, and valued. One of the most important lessons every woman still needs to learn in this season is no matter what you’ve done, what you’ve been through or what has been done to you, your worth and value are determined by your relationship with Yeshua (Jesus) and nothing else matters. You are worth far more than rubies – but you have to know your worth.
