Salt and Light Evangelistic Association Incorporated was founded by Jené Elaine Walker in 2016 and exists to get outside the four walls of the church to show the love of Yeshua (Jesus Christ) through evangelism, making disciples and helping those in need. Our goal is to equip churches, ministries, and educational systems to do the same.
We seek to Unleash the leader in every man we were created to serve.
We see the men we serve as God sees us and as God sees them. We are committed to empowering these boys and men around the world to live the lives God created them to live. From the provisions for boys in K-12 education, to the needs of homeless men and previously incarcerated men in the shelters that we build, we are the salt and the light of earth.

about our organization
We are focused on the boys and men with the greatest need, and the ways in which we can help them.
From historically disadvantaged boys in education, to homelessness and mass incarceration, our areas of focus will solve a worldwide crisis. We will make provisions for these men to have better lives. So we partner with other ministries, businesses, nonprofit organizations and government to consolidate resources and efforts to achieve the vision and accomplish the mission. We want to partner with other leaders across the nations to develop the best strategies to make an impact on the lives of these men.
We are focused on impact that we can measure beyond just numbers.
We want to help people and as a result some of the world’s issues will be resolved. We focus on the individual. Ultimately, we seek justice for those who are unable to seek it for themselves. We will know that our efforts are effective when recidivism decreases – the men we serve never return to prison again; when each historically disadvantaged male student graduates from high school in four years and pursues a higher education, training or business and becomes a productive citizen; when homelessness declines – the men we serve are able to transition from our shelters within a 1-2 year period and provide for themselves and their families; and when more lives are added to the kingdom of God through their belief in Yeshua as their Lord and Savior. Our methods are driven by research and the Word of God is the final authority. Our motivation is rooted in our assignment and our mission. Our actions are aligned with the overall vision and mission. Our effectiveness is based on the impact our initiatives have in the lives of each individual man and in the advancement of the kingdom of God.
We seek to effect change internationally.
Our focus on male empowerment unleashes the capacity in every male to lead in his area or sphere of influence. Our programs will equip each man to have dominion in the earth through his own business, his career, headship in his family, and in the community. Our work in the field of philanthropy will save families, restoring males back to their families. Children in the homes will improve in school. Economics in the home will improve. Homelessness and incarceration will decline. When we have the model program in one area, we will replicate our models across the nation and ultimately across the nations.
Matthew 5:13-15

To accomplish our goals, we have been able to streamline what we do. We have a laser focus which helps us to develop strategies, action plans, and milestones to help us accomplish our goals. We seek justice for our boys and men and we find ways to help us accomplish the goals that will help us give them justice. We measure our goals based on the impact our initiatives have. We 1) identify which strategies will help us accomplish each goal 2) how we can have the greatest impact, and 3) create a clear plan of action to achieve them.
While we are actively and aggressively addressing these issues, our goals are much bigger than what we’ve been able to accomplish so far. We ultimately want to be able to provide shelters for those in need and reentry programs for inmates. As God continues to enlarge our territory, we will be able to better serve the homeless, inmates, and historically disadvantaged students across the nations as we give them what they need spiritually as well as physically.
